Secura 3 Mental Health Bed

Often, within secure mental healthcare, there is a difficult compromise to be reached. Patients and residents care and medical needs, with regard to profiling beds, may be in conflict with concerns and risks around access to mechanisms, ligature and so on. 

The Secura 3 is the ultimate safe and secure solution - eliminating access to the bed mechanisms, with the bed surround concealing access. High/low bed positions possible with the lower bed section sitting stationary with the bed. The bed can be operated only via a secure fob, which is removed after care procedures have taken place, by the staff, rending the bed inoperative. Even the central braking system is concealed in this way, turning a mobile profiling bed into a static platform.

The sides of the single bed are recessed to allow for nurses to kneel on the bed without the obstruction of a bed surround in the shin area.
