Patients recovering from neuro or stroke-related conditions often face significant mobility challenges, including difficulty sitting upright, poor posture control, and the need for specialised pressure care. These issues not only affect patient comfort but also place physical demands on carers due to manual handling, leading to potential strain and injury.

Since we started in 2007, over 60% of the UK's intensive care units now use our seating daily.

We work closely with nurses, physios and OT’s within the neuro setting to ensure our equipment is ideal for providing the necessary care to neuro patients. 

With highly adjustable seating, reclining options, 100% layflat care chairs, safety and stability of the equipment we offer is key, alongside manual handling advantages. 

Our equipment offers comfort and pressure care reduction whilst promoting early mobilisation.  With laterals, seat belts and removable footplates, and ease of use, we have a number of options that can aid and assist patients with neuro issues.

The CH5 is 100% layflat, offers pressure care cushioning and has optional adjustable laterals or foldaway shoulder wings. This neuro multifunctional chair is manufactured in the UK which reduces lead-times.

The CH5 neuro intensive care chair reduces manual handling strain on HCP's whilst encouraging simple early mobilisation with patients - the layflat® option allows the patient to be moved from bed to chair and then slowly mobilised.  and can also be used as a recovery chair.

A high-quality transfer aid that has been designed for users that have the ability to stand up from a seated position. Safe working load 200kg.

The patient holds on to the crossbar and pulls themselves to their feet. They can then sit on the secure seat and be easily transferred by a nurse or attendant.

  • Ideal for patients with upper body strength.
  • 4 durable castors allows patients to be transferred with ease.

Tilt tables are ideal for someone who hasn’t been on their feet for a long period of time, such as bedridden or wheelchair bound patients; helping them experience some weight on their legs again.

The tables are also suitable for people who struggle to get up on their own, or would need too many HCP’s to help them rise to their feet. With three separate harnesses, patient handles and braking castors, this electric tilt table has both height and tilt control.

  • An inclinometer is supplied as standard and the upholstery on the table is anti-bacterial & fire retardant.
