Refund policy

Returns

  • Returns / Refund applications must be made within 14 days of delivery.
  • No Goods may be returned to Caremed Alrick nor credit / refund allowed for such return without the prior approval of the Caremed Alrick.
  • Any Returns application by the Customer to return Goods and receive a credit/ refund shall be in writing and shall state the reason for the return.
  • Any Returns application by the Customer should also make clear the action requested by the Customer (what you would like Caremed Alrick to do, in order to resolve the issue). 
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • IMPORTANT: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, show no visible signs of wear and tear, damage or soiling, and packaged in their original packaging materials.
  • Several types of goods are exempt from being returned - you will be notified of these at the point of sale. These are typically for Hygiene reasons.
  • Additional non-returnable items: 
    - Gift cards 
    - Downloadable software products

 

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your account or credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
    - Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
    - Any item that is returned more than 30 days after original delivery.
  • IMPORTANT: Goods wrongly ordered by the Customer, if accepted for credit return by the Caremed Alrick will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. This includes incorrect sizing and measurements not accurately taken, so please check carefully on your requirements before ordering.
  • Considerations for requests for a return, credit or refund, after 7 days following delivery is at the absolute discretion of the Caremed Alrick; if the request by the Customer is accepted by the Caremed Alrick, a price offer will be made, taking into consideration costs and consequential losses incurred by the Caremed Alrick as a result of the return and/or refund.

 

I have requested a refund but it's not yet showing in my bank account?

  • First, contact your credit card company.  It usually takes some time before your refund is officially recorded on your statement as there is often some processing time needed by your bank before a refund is processed.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@care-med.co.uk.

 


Credits

  • Acceptance of a return for credit instead of a refund, is at the absolute discretion of the Caremed Alrick.

 



Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Cancellation

Under the Distance Selling Regulations and Consumer Contract 2013 - you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving goods. This is known as a 'cooling off' period.  Your right to cancel does not apply to:

  • non-returnable goods - usually for hygiene reasons
  • bespoke products and;
  • orders manufactured to your unique specification.

To cancel your order, please email us your request for cancellation directly at info@care-med.co.uk. 

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and we will first refer to the product warranty in all cases. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@care-med.co.uk and we would be delighted to help you with an exchange.

 

Faulty Goods

If goods are found to be faulty, you must contact us immediately by emailing us at info@care-med.co.uk. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue and we will refer to the product warranty in all cases. 

Under the Consumer Rights Act you will be eligible for a full refund up 30 days after the item was purchased online.

If goods prove faulty up to six months after purchase, we will first check the product warranty, if the product has been misused, or mishandled whilst in the ownership of the Customer and investigate whether the product can be repaired or replaced.  If not, you will, in most cases, be entitled to receive a full refund, however, this decision will remain at the full discretion of Caremed Alrick.

 

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning your item to us. To return your product, please contact us directly as we are sometimes able to arrange a collection for you.

You should use a trackable courier service or purchasing shipping insurance for returning items directly. Please note we can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item via a third party courier.
