The Porto bed carrier trolley has been designed around the ever-growing request for a solution to bed transportation. This trolley is made in the Midlands, so its lead time is 1-2 weeks.

The Porto provides a platform for safe easy bed transportation, including sturdy anchor points to secure the bed to the trolley while in transit.

  • There is a robust base support for extra stability when loading or unloading.
  • For heavier beds there is an optional hand operated winch attachment.
  • Can also be used to store unused beds in an upright position, saving space and also allowing for easy manoeuvring when needed.

The Porto Mattress trolleys can transport 1-3 mattresses easily and efficiently. The ergonomic design eases the strain on the HCP, and makes what could be a difficult job considerably easier. The mattress trolley is also suitable for storage, overcoming the unhygienic (and damage-prone) method of storing mattresses on floors in corridors and bathrooms.

    The Alerta Evacuation Sledge is used for transporting a user to safety during an evacuation.

    The user is placed on the sledge, secured with the chest and leg straps and pulled to safety using the straps at each end.  The flexible sledge and slippery underneath will allow controlled and easy access through doorways and down stairs.
