Bariatric chairs
We offer our Mobilise CH5 early mobilisation chair as a bariatric option. With a unique retractable foot rest to aid sit-to-standing, this multifunctional chair is manufactured right here in the UK, reducing carbon footprint and shorter lead times. The care chair has optional extras such as wings, laterals and an activity tray.
The Sertain™ hi-lo care chair also has a bariatric option. An advanced care chair, which has been designed in conjunction with Critical Care, Trauma and Rehab Professionals – the bariatric chair has a safe working load of up to 300kg, and a seat which can be adjusted up to 68cm in width.
You can rent the either chair from under £50 a day, or get in touch with us if you would like a refurbished chair price, or one from new. Remember, we also provide servicing, repair and replacement parts for these hard-working chairs.
Bariatric beds
We have a number of beds that are also available for bariatric patients, from 200kg and up. For example the EN9 series bed has a low height of 100mm and no towers. With auto regression and Trendelenberg, it has a safe working load of 300kg. With an adjustable height of between 100mm to 725mm, it has a number of hospital bed features, but also looks like a regular bed.
Bariatric Mattresses
Our high-risk bariatric pressure relieving mattress is built with a static base section and an in-use height of 10" for effective prevention and treatment of bariatric users at very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer in hospital, nursing and care home environments. Maximum patient weight is 350kg.
We also supply a bariatric foam only mattress which has a maximum weight of 294kg, and our best selling Total Flow hybrid (both a mattress and an air mattress, reducing patient transfers) which can take the weight of a patient up to 250kg.
Our Clinical furniture range
We also offer an extra large bariatric ward care chair for hire. A high-back bariatric ward care chair with a safe working load of 350kg, provides great postural support for patients in rehabilitation or recovery post surgery. Featuring adjustable seat legs and seat depth, these ward chairs can be customised according to the patient's needs.
